The Aishalton Mission is located in the Alto Takutu – Alto Essequibo region, Guyana.

The mission has approximately 500 inhabitants. REIBA is working with the Sawariwau Nursery, Maruranau Nursery, and Karaudarnau Nursery.

The native language is Tsiman, spoken by about 90% of the population. Currently, due to climate change and illegal activities such as excessive logging, the local population is losing its plant wealth. Therefore, REIBA’s presence is crucial for the preservation and continuation of nature conservation efforts, working alongside the community to raise awareness among new generations.
