In a week full of enrichment and learning, from 24 to 28 July, a workshop was held on the methodology of using Tsimane-Spanish bilingual primers. This significant event was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Bolivian District Directorate of Education and the organisation REIBA, who took part in this meeting and who work tirelessly to promote intercultural education in diverse communities.

Under the outstanding facilitation of Lic. Paola Valeros, an expert in the field, teachers from the Unidad Educativa Mision Fatima immersed themselves in an experience of knowledge and deep reflection. The active participation of all teachers ensured an atmosphere of collaboration and respect, where every voice was equally valued.

The result of these days of dedication was the creation of an exciting plan of activities for the second semester of the school year. This plan incorporates the Tsimane-Spanish bilingual primers as a pedagogical tool to strengthen the cultural identity of the students and promote inclusive education.

The use of these primers, carefully crafted with the linguistic reality of the community in mind, will allow students to connect with their cultural roots while learning in a meaningful way - an important step towards a more diverse and inclusive education!

The educational community of the Fatima Mission Educational Unit celebrates this achievement and feels committed to a future enriched by respect for cultural and linguistic diversity. Congratulations to all those involved in this valuable workshop!
